Dr. Kaur is an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She specializes in the treatment of plasma cell disorders, including multiple myeloma, smoldering myeloma, monoclonal gammopathy of uncertain significance (MGUS), and AL amyloidosis, with additional expertise in chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy.
Dr. Kaur earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Tufts Medical Center and her fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Kaur sees patients at the Ruttenberg Treatment Center in New York City and is affiliated with several Mount Sinai hospitals, including Mount Sinai Morningside, Mount Sinai West, Mount Sinai Beth Israel, and The Mount Sinai Hospital. She is fluent in English.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Kaur participates in research and consulting for a number of biopharmaceutical companies working to advance therapies in hematologic malignancies
